Iron Mountain — has been my public voice for many years. I chose that symbolic name because of the book Report From Iron Mountain published by Richard Lewin to warn Americans about their military-industrial complex and how it pervades and changes their government. The essays now cover much more than that.
The subject of American militarism and its proponents is important long term, but now in America we are facing a much more dangerous problem, American Fascism ...again! — And, beyond that, I am interested to get into the the even larger problems facing civilization that give rise to Fascism and underlie most of our social problems. We have assumptions at the core of our societies that are no longer adequate to a world with 8 billion people struggling to live in it, including, of course, why we have 8 billion people.
